January 24, 2008On the way home from work the weather was getting worse & the skies were darkening by the minute. But this was not going to stop me going out running in my new style. After listening to Rich at the weekend & how we should run it was interesting to put the practise into motion. When finally i was ready to go out the wind had whipped up. I started of lightly running & trying to get my new run posture going but it was taking a while & with this my heart rate was high so had to take a step back & relax. After 15 minutes i was running nice & LIGHT as the said i was to do.. By this stage the heaven’s had opened & i was soaked but kept going. I only did 5.5k but it was more to get the posture right. I was vary happy to have done it at at very low heart rate & in 33mins. My calves are sore but i was told that is going to happen & as they say NO PAIN NO GAIN.. Roll on my next run..
